At Sweeney Conrad, we practice people first accounting. To us, this means putting an individual focus on building an equitable future for each and every one of our clients and staff members. The Sweeney Conrad People First Scholarship seeks to reward accounting students who align with those values, paving the way for them to carry that mindset into their accounting careers.
Our foundation of people first accounting begins with our employees – because we know the success of our firm stems from the relationships within it. We consider our employees family and foster a positive work culture, encouraging a healthy balance between work and life.
We created the People First Scholarship to connect with students whose values align with ours. We hope that through this program and our events like the Sweeney Conrad Summer Summit, we can create a vibrant community of likeminded students and young professionals.
Scholarship recipients will receive $1,000 towards education expenses, including tuition and/or related costs for the 2026-2027 academic school year. Recipients will also receive invitations to Sweeney Conrad networking events throughout the year, providing opportunities for fellow students to meet accounting professionals. To be eligible for the scholarship students must be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree with a major in accounting and a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
