Dorothy provides tax services to complicated high net worth individuals, closely held entities, and trusts. Prior to coming to Sweeney Conrad she was an owner at Roer & Company in Seattle with her husband Greg Roer, where she served clients and provided support and marketing services. Since 2013 she has served as an Adjunct Professor at the Golden Gate University Graduate School of Taxation.

Dorothy is a self-proclaimed obsessive knitter. When she is not working with clients, she enjoys spending time with her family (especially the grandkids- she shares her birthday with two of them!), and her students. She also enjoys reading and travelling.
